Account Manager

Based out of our brand new Lymington Branch, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of building materials in Lymington and the surrounding areas.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of established customers to increase share of wallet and ensure Elliotts are the supply partner of choice, as well as proactively generating new business by acting on leads and making cold calls
  • Maximise profit return from customers through being commercially aware and setting appropriate terms
  • The role will be focused around interaction with customers, either face to face or virtually
  • Enquiries and orders will be managed via strong working relationships with branch colleagues


  • You will need an engaging personality, create excellent first impressions and be able to portray a professional image to customers
  • You will have the ability to develop long term partnerships with customers to add value to their business
  • Your commercial awareness and ability to analyse account performance will be crucial to success
  • A strong background of building materials is ideal with a previous background in a sales or customer facing role
  • You will need to be self disciplined, motivated and able to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Exceptional customer service standards
  • Driving licence (essential)
