Our Christchurch branch is one of our largest and busiest across the company. However, despite its team’s reputation of being hugely successful, they are better known their friendly banter and great atmosphere amongst the team. Which is all driven by the Branch Manager, Ben, who promotes the importance of everyone in his team providing great customer service whilst enjoying what they do on a day-to-day basis.

As a Yard Assistant, you’ll be on the frontline when it comes to serving our customers and delivering the very best customer service and experience. The yard can get quite busy so there will be a variety of different people you’ll be interacting with; you know what they say about variety- it is the spice of life! You’ll also be showing off your forklift skills by loading and unloading our lorries and looking after the stock. Don’t forget keeping the yard looking spic and span as well!

We’re looking for someone who’s great with people and really takes pride in what they do yet isn’t afraid of some good old-fashioned hard work. So, to ensure that you hit the ground running, already having a counterbalance forklift license is a must for this role.

The yard is open for business between 7.00 am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, so that’s when we’ll need you in. It’s also open Saturdays 8am till 12pm but appreciate that you do need a lie in now and again so won’t expect you to work every week.
