Our self-confessed ‘money maker’ branch AKA Bishops Waltham, is looking for an extra person to keep up its status. There’s loads of areas we want to expand in moving forward and we’re going to need a little support to make it a success.  

The main focus of this new role will be the administration side. By admin we don’t just mean scanning and filing (even though inevitably there will be a little of that). We’re talking full responsibility for the whole branch process. Dealing with queries, invoices, purchase orders and returns from start to finish, ensuring that the process is dealt with efficiently, quickly and not a headache for anyone involved. It will involve communicating with a variety of different people on a daily basis, including suppliers, customers, and our central accounts team (they’re alright, promise), so you really need to be able to communicate brilliantly with everyone. And count, because stock take is also another vital part of the role.  

We don’t like to pigeonhole people so you won’t just be stuck in the back office glued to a screen. It gets super busy at the branch so if there’s a customer waiting or the phones are going, we’ll expect you to muck in and help out where you can. Knowing a bit about building materials already would make you stand out but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t, we’re looking for someone with the willingness to grow with us and who will fit in with our team. What we do need is someone who knows how important the admin side of the operation is and someone who will take pride in making sure it’s done properly.  

Right now we’d need you from 7am to 4pm (although you need to be flexible if this changes to 8am to 5pm), Monday to Friday.
